BCM FOR GOVERNMENT OF CANADA (FED BCM) 

Vanguard EMC Inc. has developed a Business Continuity Management training workshop to provide the required methodology for developing Canadian Government mandated programs. The course is consistent with the Emergency Management Act (2011), Policy on Government Security (TBS, 2019), and the Business Continuity Management Program Guide (Centre for Resiliency and Continuity Management, Public Safety Canada, 2023 Edition). This course is intended to augment any training offered by the Canada School of Public Service by providing practical application methods. Course content includes theory and workshop activities to reinforce the following concepts:

• Overview of the requirements of business continuity management within the federal government
• BCM authorities
• Policy, scope and objectives
• Roles and responsibilities
• Exercise and testing
• Training and awareness

A four day virtual classroom interaction. (Half day in class for knowledge and skills development, and additional time between classes to complete independent work.)

$1575 +HST includes student reference text, tools and templates,  workshops and knowledge checks. Successful participants are awarded a course completion certificate.
